The 2 days gorilla safari to Bwindi begins from Kigali airport, driving through either Cyanika border post to southern Bwindi in Rushaga or from Kigali city through Katuna border post to Ruhija in the northern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. All this depends on the availability of gorilla permits in either sector of the park.
Day 1 – Kigali – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked by our guide from your hotel and transfer from Kigali and cross over to Uganda through Immigration boarder point to the northern sector of Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Engagi Lodge – Bwindi Jungle Lodge/Bakiga Lodge .FB
Day 2 – Gorilla tracking and transfer to Kigali
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a brief. Don’t forget to carry your lunch and water prepared by your lodge. The trekking may take about 1-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. You will be in the company of the gentle giants for a maximum of an hour, enjoying them feeding, playing around as you take memorable photos. After the gorilla tracking adventure, you will drive back to Kigali for your scheduled flight back home.
