This 4 days gorilla tracking bwindi forest safari trip gives you an hour interaction with the world’s mountain gorillas from the Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. The safari also takes through a variety of activities, as gorilla trekking is the day main activity of the package. Other activities include; visiting the Uganda Equator, bird watching, nature walks, community visits and many more.
Itinerary for the 4 days gorilla tracking bwindi forest safari trip
Day 1 – Transfer to hotel for overnight
On arrival, you will be picked by our guide and transferred to the hotel for the night at Lake Heights Hotel – Cassia Lodge – Hotel Olympia. BB
Day 2 – Travel to Bwindi forest impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will drive towards the southern part of the country to Bwindi forest impenetrable National Park. You will have a brief stop at the equator for lunch and photographic moments.
After lunch, you will continue driving southwards through Mbarara, you will enjoy the beautiful savannah grassland and acacia as well as the beautiful Collins filled with terraces where people graze their long horned Ankole cattle.
This is a long drive of about 8 hours. Dinner and night at Bwindi Engagi Lodge – Broadbill forest Lodge / Bakiga Lodge – Gorilla Valley Lodge (E). full Board
NB. The length of the journey will depend on the availability of Gorilla permits in one part of the park or the other and on the road conditions.
Day 3 – Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters where you will join other visitors for briefing by the park guides and rangers on the dos and don’ts while with gorillas.
You will then head to the forest to track the gorillas from where they were last seen the previous day in groups not exceeding 8 people per family.
Do not forget to carry your packed lunch, rain jacket and hiking boots. It is impossible to tell how long it will take to find the giants as sometimes they constantly move freely in the forest looking for food but after finding them, the one our stay with them is no doubt an unforgettable experience.

Day 4 – Travel back to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will leave for Entebbe in order to catch your return flight. Lunch enroute and photographic moments at the equator.
